Stefan Kubes began his professional career in the financial services industry as a trader of a Managed Futures public investment fund at a securities firm. In addition to trading index futures and individual securities for high-net-worth private clients, he achieved in-depth knowledge of the regulatory and operational requirements associated with a securities firm license.
He subsequently worked as a client and proprietary trader at a renowned private bank in Vienna, where he further expanded his expertise in securities trading and financial markets.
Since 2013, Stefan Kubes has been with SIGMA Investment AG. His responsibilities in the field of asset management include portfolio management and investment advisory services, fund management, as well as the analysis and optimization of investment portfolios.
In addition, he has extensive experience in corporate organisation and regulatory matters. A further key area of his work is the implementation of new regulatory requirements. Stefan Kubes played a key role in the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), as well as other relevant legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines within the company.
Today, Stefan Kubes is CFO of SIGMA Investment AG, drawing on his many years of experience in securities trading, asset management, corporate organisation, IT and regulatory affairs.
